Description
The AD8110AST is a high-speed 16 x 8 video cross point switch matrix which is part of the Analog Switches/ Multiplexers product category. It has a –3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 260 MHz, operates on voltage supplies of ±5V while consuming only 50 mA of idle current and is packaged in an 80-lead LQFP package which is available over the extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C. It is designed for high-speed applications and has channel switch times of less than 25 ns with 1% settling. With –78 dB of crosstalk and –97 dB isolation (@ 5 MHz), it is useful in many high-speed applications. The AD8110AST includes eight independent output buffers that can be placed into a high impedance state for paralleling crosspoint outputs.

Application Scenarios
The AD8110AST can be used for routing high-speed signals including composite video (NTSC, PAL, S, SECAM), component video (YUV, RGB), compressed video (MPEG, Wavelet), and 3-level digital video (HDB3).
