TLK4120 - Brand New Texas Instruments Receivers & Transceivers
-
Description
The TLK4120 is an eight-channel serial transceiver in the product category of Receivers & Transceivers. It is compliant with the 10Gbps Ethernet XAUI specification, providing high-speed bi-directional point-to-point data transmission. The TLK4120 is designed for backplanes and front panel connections requiring dual/redundant 10Gbps connections over controlled impedance media. It can be used with printed circuit board (PCB) traces, copper cables, or fiber-optical media. The TLK4120 performs parallel-to-serial, serial-to-parallel conversion, and clock extraction functions for a physical layer interface. It contains two complete IEEE P802.3ae-2002 10 Gbps Ethernet XGXS cores and supports various features such as channel redundancy mode, transmit pre-emphasis, receive adaptive equalization, full duplex retimer mode, and more.
