Description
The Electronic Component Model VS3232EPE is a high-speed TTL-compatible 8-bit bus switch. It is available in two versions: VS3345 and VS32345. The VS3345 contains eight high-speed bus switches with common active low (/OE) and active high (OE) enables. On the other hand, the VS32345 has 25Ω resistors in series with the switches to reduce ground-bounce noise and signal reflection.
Specifications and features
The VS3232EPE offers several features including enhanced N-FET with no DC path to VCC or GND in the normal operating signal voltage range. It has a low impedance bidirectional data flow with 5Ω for the VS3345 and 25Ω for the VS32345. The bus switch also has near-zero propagation delay, zero added ground bounce or signal noise, and TTL-compatible control signals. Additionally, it is equipped with undershoot clamp diodes on all switch and control pins. The VS3232EPE has an ESD rating greater than 2000V (Human Body Model) or greater than 200V (Machine Model). It also has a latch-up current greater than 100mA and is available in a 150-mil wide QSOP package.

The VS3232EPE can be utilized in various applications such as 5V to 3.3V translation in mixed-supply environments, hot-swap interfaces, logic replacement, and bus isolation.
