Description
The KSZ8995MI is a highly integrated Layer-2 managed switch developed for cost-sensitive 10/100Mbps switch systems. It is a highly optimized Ethernet IC with good features such as tag/port-based VLAN, MIB counters, management, dual MII interfaces, CPU control/data interfaces, and QoS (Quality of Service) priority. The switch provides an effective solution for current and emerging Fast Ethernet Applications.

- Integrated Layer-2 managed switch with five MACs and five Fast Ethernet transceivers compliant with the IEEE802.3u standard.
- 1.4 Gbps memory bandwidth with fully nonblocking configuration
- Dual MII configuration: MII switch (MAC or PHY mode MII) and MII-P5 (PHY Mode MII)
- VLAN features: IEEE 802.1q tag-based VLAN, VLAN ID tag/untag options, per-port basis
- Programmable rate limiting 0Mbps to 100Mbps, ingress and egress port
- Integrated MIB counters for statistics gathering, 34 MIB counters per port
- Enable/Disable option for a huge frame size up to 1916 bytes per frame
- IGMPv1/v2 snooping for Multicast Packet Filtering
- MAC ID-based security lock option
- Port mirroring/monitoring/sniffing: ingress and/or egress traffic to any port or MII
- Broadcast storm protection with percent control – global and per-port basis
- Compliant to UL, CB, IEC60950/EN60950-1 and CE marking specifications
