The AD9243AS is a type of analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that belongs to Analog Devices family. This model features a 3 mega samples per second (MSPS) conversion rate and a 14-bit resolution. The AD9243AS ADC has been designed utilizing a high-speed CMOS process and an innovative architecture, which has made it possible for this ADC to achieve the speed and resolution of many existing hybrid implementations while offering significantly lower power consumption. It is built with an on-chip, low noise sample and hold amplifier, and a programmable voltage reference, making it an all-inclusive and monolithic device.
