Description
The BMI055 is a small and versatile inertial measurement unit (IMU) that can detect movements and rotations in 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) along the x-, y-, and z-axis. It features triaxial, low-g acceleration sensors and is capable of measuring angular rates. The device is equipped with digital bi-directional SPI and I2C interfaces for optimal system integration. This makes it suitable for a wide range of consumer applications, including gaming and pointing devices, HMI, image stabilization for DSC and camera-phones, cell phones, and handhelds, as well as computer peripherals, man-machine interfaces, virtual reality features, and game controllers.
