Description
The MAX618EEE is a CMOS, PWM, step-up DC-DC converter that is designed to generate output voltages up to 28V. This converter has a wide input voltage range from +3V to +28V and features an internal 2A, 0.3Ω switch, eliminating the need for external power MOSFETs. With this configuration, the MAX618EEE can supply output currents of up to 500mA or more. It also utilizes a PWM control scheme combined with Idle Mode™ operation at light loads, resulting in minimized noise and ripple while maximizing efficiency across a wide load range. Additionally, the MAX618EEE has a low no-load operating current of 500µA, enabling efficiency of up to 93%.
