The SSD1815T3R is a single-chip CMOS LCD driver with a controller designed for liquid crystal dot matrix graphic display systems. It has a total of 197 high voltage driving output pins, which can be used to drive 132 segments, 64 commons, and 1 icon driving common.
One of the main features of the SSD1815T3R is its ability to display data directly from its internal 132 x 65 bits Graphic Display Data RAM (GDDRAM).
This electronic component can receive data and commands from a general MCU through a software selectable 6800-/8080-series compatible Parallel Interface or Serial Peripheral Interface.
