The EN29F040A is a 4-Megabit, electrically erasable, read/write non-volatile flash memory. It can be operated at 5.0V voltage and offers fast access times as low as 45ns. With its sector architecture, the memory is divided into eight uniform sectors of 64Kbytes each, supporting full chip erase and individual sector erase. The EN29F040A also features sector protection through hardware locking. It has high performance program/erase speed with a byte program time of 10µs and sector/chip erase times of 500ms and 3.5s respectively. The memory has low standby current and low power active current consumption, making it suitable for various applications. It adopts JEDEC Standard program and erase commands, and incorporates embedded erase and program algorithms. The EN29F040A is available in different package options and can operate within commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
