Description
The DS1248YP-70+ is a model of real-time clocks (RTC) categorized electronic component that is a fully static nonvolatile RAM with a built-in real-time clock. This model comes with an organized memory of 128k words and 8 bits. Additionally, it has control circuitry and a self-contained lithium energy source that monitors VCC for inappropriate conditions and takes actions accordingly. The lithium energy source is automatically switched on to prevent garbled data in both memory and RTC when such a condition occurs.
