The CAT1163J-45 is an IC chip that offers a complete solution for memory and supervision purposes in microcontroller-based systems. It features a 16K serial EEPROM memory with hardware write protection, a system power supervisor with brownout protection, and a watchdog timer, all integrated in low power CMOS technology. The memory interface is through an I2C bus.
