    The MPX5050D is a piezoresistive transducer pressure sensor manufactured by Freescale Semiconductor. It is a state-of-the-art sensor designed for a variety of applications, but especially those that use microprocessors or microcontrollers with A/D inputs. This single element transducer combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization, and bipolar processing to produce an accurate, high-level analog output signal that is proportional to pressure.
