Description
The SN74LS157N is a Quad 2-Input Multiplexer which is a member of the LSTTL/MSI family of electronic components. It belongs to the category of Signal Switches/ Encoders & Decoders/ Multiplexers. This multiplexer allows for the selection of data from two different sources using the common select and enable inputs. The selected data is then presented in true (non-inverted) form through the four buffered outputs. Moreover, this component can generate any four of the 16 different functions of two variables. The SN74LS157N is manufactured with the Schottky barrier diode process which provides high speed and is fully compatible with all ON Semiconductor TTL families.
