    The MAX6683AUB+ is a constant-frequency, pulse-width modulating (PWM), current-mode DC-DC controller designed for a wide range of DC-DC conversion applications. It supports step-up, SEPIC, flyback, and isolated output configurations with power levels of 20W or more. With conversion efficiencies of over 90%, it offers high performance. It has an input voltage range of 1.8V to 28V, making it suitable for various battery and AC-powered inputs. The MAX6683AUB+ features a low operating current of 220µA and an adjustable operating frequency of 100kHz to 500kHz. It also includes soft-start and a SYNC input for external clock synchronization. The DC-DC conversion efficiency is optimized with a low 100mV current-sense voltage and Maxim's proprietary Idle Mode™ control scheme. In addition, it has a logic-level shutdown input, reducing the supply current to 3.5µA.
