Electronic Component Model: AP1098 is an IC chip designed to provide reliable and efficient electrical connections. It is a single position connector that can handle a maximum current of 30 A with #10 AWG conductor. The connector features a complete locking function to prevent accidental disconnection. It also has molded-in contact retention tabs for easy handling of terminated contacts during crimping. Additionally, the connector has built-in posts to ensure correct placement and orientation on the board. AP1098 supports encapsulation up to 10 mm without affecting its performance. Each contact is completely surrounded by an insulator housing, preventing short circuits between adjacent contacts. The connector also offers increased retention force for crimped contacts and provides different variations of crimp socket contacts and housings to meet various application needs.
