Description
The TLC5916IDR is an LED driver integrated circuit designed to control LED displays using I2C interface. It has 8 output channels with capability of sinking up to 120 mA per channel. TLC5916IDR has 2 hardware address pins, which allow it to connect up to 4 devices on the same bus for up to 32 PWM channels. This driver incorporates a preheat function which extends LED life by reducing thermal stress on the LED during start-up. The device is designed to work in harsh environments over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
