The MAX8954EWN+ is a high-efficiency DC-to-DC step-down switching regulator that can deliver up to 2.5A of output current. It operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range, making it suitable for commonly-used battery technologies in handsets. The output voltage can be programmed using I2C from 0.77V to 1.40V. The device incorporates remote sense to ensure precise DC regulation at the load. It has a total output error of less than ±1.5% over load, line, and temperature.
