The DWP-446 is an electronic component model in the IC Chips product category. It is specifically designed as an eighteen-line active terminator for the SCSI parallel bus. This model follows the SCSI standard recommendation of having active termination at both ends of the SCSI bus. With a meager 60µA of supply current and only 3.5pF of output capacitance during disconnect mode, the DWP-446 offers low power consumption and high signal integrity. It features a disconnect pin that can be left open or driven high to enter low-power mode. In this mode, the terminating resistors are disconnected and the internal low dropout regulator is enabled, resulting in reliable and error-free communication.
