The MVTX2804AG2 is an 8-port non-blocking Ethernet switch chip, primarily used for both managed and unmanaged switch applications. This electronic component supports up to eight Gigabit Ports with GMII and PCS interface and allows two Gigabit ports to be aggregated into 2Gbps Stacking port working with VTX2600 in stacking mode. The MVTX2804AG2 provides Hot plug support for GMII/PCS module and centralized shared-memory architecture.
