Description
The ADUM1402CRWZ is a 4-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices’ iCoupler® technology. These isolation components provide better performance characteristics compared to alternative optocoupler devices by combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology. It has bidirectional communication, 3 V/5 V level translation, high temperature operation of up to 105°C, and high data rate of dc to 90 Mbps (NRZ). It also has precise timing characteristics, high common-mode transient immunity of more than 25 kV/μs, output enable function, and a wide body 16-lead SOIC package. It has UL recognition, CSA component acceptance notice #5A, VDE certificate of conformity, and DIN EN 60747-5-2 (VDE 0884 Part 2): 2003-01 and DIN EN 60950 (VDE 0805): 2001-12; EN 60950: 2000 safety and regulatory approvals. This digital isolator can be used for general-purpose multichannel isolation, SPI® interface/data converter isolation, RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 transceiver, and industrial field bus isolation.
