The Texas Instruments CDCV857BIDGG is a Clamp-on Dual-Clamp Variable Isolation switch DC-DC converter. This unit allows for isolation between the device and the HVAC control system. This converter provides a wide range of voltage outputs, over the full range of 0 VDC to 30 VDC, and with a wide input operating range of 72-264 Vac or 120-370 VDC. It also has several features such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection, adjustable soft start, active power factor correction and DC-DC switching mode. The adjustable soft start and active power factor correction allow for high efficiency and low output ripple. This makes it ideal for powering devices in noisy environments, such as medical devices and lighting, as well as for industrial applications. The CDCV857BIDGG is UL certified and can be easily configured for various application requirements.
