TNY279PN Description
TinySwitchTM-III is an energy-efficient off-line switcher with more flexibility and a wider power range. consists of a 700V power MOSFET, an oscillator, a high-voltage switching current source, a current limit (user selected), and thermal shutdown circuitry The IC series employs an ON/OFF control method and provides a design-flexible solution with low system costs and extended power capabilities. ON/OFF management ensures steady efficiency even at low loads, making it suited for obligatory CEC rules and 1W PC standby requirements. Low component count improves reliability and allows for single- sided printed circuit board architecture. Fast switch on with minimum overshoot and great transient load response is provided by high bandwidth.
