Texas Instruments' TPS2412DR Ideal Diode & ORing Controllers provide an unobtrusive and reliable power solution without the power loss typically associated with diode bridges - all while actively making sure your system stays within the temperature limits of -40°C - 85°C. This 8-SOIC chip comes in a 0.154" 3.90mm width and is designed to be used as an alternative to surface mount diode bridges. With smart logic inputs to measure voltage and current, intuitive output controls such as fault detection/quick report, key protection such as current and overvoltage protection, and with a wide input voltage range from 2.9V-16.7V, TPS2412DR's provide an ideal power solution for your application.
