The Texas Instruments TL598CN is a programmable frequency synthesizer that can generate high frequency clock sources with ultra-low jitter at a very low power consumption. It offers flexibility to create multiple clock frequencies up to 200 MHz and also provides external PLL loops that can be used to synchronize to input reference signals across multiple reference frequencies. It also features programmable on-chip delay line, selectable spread spectrum, output frequency modulation and an adjustable holdover circuit which helps to provide more reliable and consistent jitter performance. The device offers low RMS noise at low power consumption, high frequency precision and easy programming. Furthermore, it provides multiple outputs, greater flexibility and a wide range of input and output configurations, making it ideal for various types of high-speed data and clock applications.
