Texas Instruments’ LM140LAH-5.0 is a precision, 5.0V voltage reference that offers accurate, stable operation over a wide range of ambient temperatures. This device provides a predictable and dependable output voltage, which makes it suitable for a variety of battery and system level applications including mobile devices, automotive electronics, and industrial controllers. It features a low output current of 10nA, which contributes to its excellent reliability. The LM140LAH-5.0 offers excellent accuracy of 0.4% over temperature, and its high input impedance ensures an expressed output voltage even when the input voltage is varying. This device also does not require an external capacitor for stability, minimizing overall system cost and board space. The LM140LAH-5.0 has a low power dissipation and is packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of space-constrained applications.
