The Texas Instruments TPS5130PTR is a high-efficiency, low-dropout linear voltage regulator. It is ideal for powering microprocessors and ultra-low- power electronics such as analog-to-digital converters, flash memory, and other low-power logic circuits. It is designed to operate with output voltages between 1V and 6V and maximum output currents of up to 5A. Its high efficiency allows for maximum power savings and it provides a very low output voltage ripple for improved performance. Additionally, its built-in protection functions prevent damage from overcurrent, short-circuits, and over- temperature. The TPS5130PTR is ideally suited for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
