Texas Instruments LM2937ESX-12/NOPB is a low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator. The device uses an externally compensated error amplifier to maintain a constant output voltage. The LDO operates from an input voltage of 1.2 V to 12 V, and delivers up to 1 A of continuous load current. The design and stringent parametric limits guarantee ultra-low output noise and excellent regulation, making it suitable for demanding applications such as battery-powered and handheld systems. The low power dissipation and extremely low dropout voltage reduce heat generation and maintain optimum voltage regulation. Additionally, the LM2937ESX-12/NOPB offers a very low quiescent current in both enabled and diabled states. This feature and the current limit, thermal protection and undervoltage lockout features make the LM2937ESX-12/NOPB an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.
