The AD9231BCPZ-40 Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) 64-LFCSP-VQ (9x9) from Analog Devices Inc. is a 12-bit pipelined successive approximation register (SAR) with a sampling rate of up to 40 MS/s. It features on-chip sample and hold (S/H) and features a differential-input range of -40～C to 85～C. This ADC provides a high level of flexibility as it can be used as a single-ended or differential device. It is useful for applications requiring high accuracy and resolution with the ability to handle high input signal levels. The AD9231 supports various data output formats including 10-bit or 12-bit left-justified or offset-binary coding, as well as other signal coding formats such as two's complement. The ADC also features programmable power-on reset for better signal initialization. Designed for easy integration, the AD9231BCPZ-40 comes in an ultra-small 64-lead LFCSP-VQ package measuring only 9x9mm, making this ADC an ideal solution for applications where space-savings are a priority.
