Description

The TPS6300x devices offer a power supply solution for products that use a two-cell or three-cell alkaline, NiCd, or NiMH battery, or a one-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer battery. When using a single-cell Li-ion or Lipolymer battery, output currents can reach 1200 mA when discharged to 2.5 V or lower. To achieve maximum efficiency, the buck-boost converter is based on a fixed frequency, pulse width modulation (PWM) controller with synchronous rectification.
