FAN7380MX-OP

The monolithic half-bridge gate driver IC FAN7380_OP can drive MOSFETs and IGBTs operating at up to +600 V. ON Semiconductor's high-voltage process and common-mode interference suppression technology provide stable operation of the high-side driver in the presence of high dv/dt interference. Advanced level conversion circuitry allows high-side gate driver operation up to VS = -9.8V (typical) for VBS = 15V. Input logic levels are compatible with standard TTL series logic gates. Internal breakdown protection circuitry provides a 100ns dead time to prevent the output switching devices from turning on simultaneously during transients. The UVLO circuitry for both channels prevents fault operation when VCC and VBS fall below a specified threshold voltage. The output drivers have typical source/draw currents of 90mA/180mA respectively and are suitable for fluorescent/compact fluorescent lamp ballast applications and systems requiring low di/dt interference.
