International Rectifier's Fifth Generation HEXFETs use innovative processing techniques to provide extraordinarily low on-resistance per silicon area. This benefit, when combined with the high switching speed and ruggedized device design of HEXFET Power MOSFETs, offers the designer with an exceptionally efficient and dependable device for usage in a wide range of applications.
A modified leadframe has been put into the conventional SOT-23 packaging to generate the industry's smallest footprint HEXFET Power MOSFET. The Micro3 package is appropriate for situations where printed circuit board area is limited. The Micro3's tiny profile (1. 1mm) allows it to readily fit into extremely small application contexts such as portable devices and PCMCIA cards.
