The Texas Instruments TPS7A1601DGNT is a low power, high speed DC/DC converter solution optimized for small form factors. It is the industry’s first dual- phase, single output, voltage regulator solution with an integrated FET. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and features a high efficiency at light loads, as well as low quiescent current. This allows designers to use the device in a wide range of applications, such as battery- powered products, wearable devices and power savings applications. The device comes in a small 2.8 mm x 0.9 mm SOT-23 package and provides current-mode control, OVP, and adjustable current limit. The device also features cycle-by- cycle current limiting and high side current-sense inputs to protect loads from overcurrent events. This device is also green and halogen-free and is available in a Pb-free and RoHS-compliant SOIC-8 package.
