AK2354ALV is a 2-channel PCM codec LSI designed for ISDN and VoIP terminal adapters. It can be used in ISDN terminal adapters (TA) and is suitable for both Europe and North America and Japan with its selectable A-Law companding rule. The codec features a built-in 2-channel PCM codec/filter, a RINGER TONE generator, and various functions that can be set for each channel. It supports PCM data interfaces such as LongFrame, ShortFrame, and GCI, with configurable data transfer rates at N times frequencies of 64 kHz.
