Description
The LT1431CS8 is an adjustable shunt voltage regulator belonging to the voltage references product category. It has a sink capability of 100mA, an initial reference voltage tolerance of 0.4%, and a typical temperature stability of 0.3%. The LT1431CS8 can be configured as a 5V shunt regulator using on-chip divider resistors, with a 1% initial voltage tolerance and no need for additional external components. Additionally, by adding two external resistors, the output voltage can be set to any value between 2.5V and 36V. The LT1431CS8 also has a nominal internal current limit of 100mA which can be decreased using one external resistor.
