The DP83848IVVX is a reliable and robust Ethernet transceiver designed for harsh environments such as wireless remote base stations, automotive/transportation, and industrial control applications. It offers enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and has the choice of an MII or RMII interface for MPU selection. The highly reliable feature rich device meets IEEE 802.3 standards over multiple temperature ranges from commercial to extreme temperatures, and is ideally suited for applications that require Ethernet connectivity.
