Description

The MAX8865TEUA is a dual, low-dropout linear regulator designed for battery-operated portable equipment such as cellular phones, cordless phones, and modems. It operates from a +2.5V to +5.5V input range and can deliver up to 100mA of output current. The device features Dual Mode™ operation, allowing for preset output voltages or adjustable voltages with external resistor dividers. It also includes independent low-power shutdown, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown protection, and reverse battery protection. The MAX8865TEUA comes in a miniature 8-pin µMAX package.
