    The SM367NVA3 is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) categorized in IC chips that provides protection to components connected to data and transmission lines against voltage surges due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT), and lightning. This TVS diode is designed to have high surge capacity, low operating and clamping voltages, and fast response times, making it perfect for use in protecting sensitive semiconductor components at board level. With a dual-junction common-anode design, it offers protection to one bidirectional data line or two unidirectional lines. This component comes in a low profile SOT23 package, which provides flexibility in the design of 'crowded' circuit boards. The SM367NVA3 meets the IEC 61000-4-2 (previously IEC 801-2), Level 4, 'Human Body Model' for air and contact discharge, ensuring quality functionality at different levels of surges.
