Description

The ST7078NL is a dot-matrix liquid crystal display controller and driver LSI that can display alphanumeric, Japanese kana characters, and symbols. It is designed to be connected to a 4- or 8-bit microprocessor to control a dot-matrix liquid crystal display. The ST7078NL operates at a low power range of 2.7 to 5.5V and has a wide range of LCD driver power support from 3.0 to 7.0V. It has a high speed serial interface and can correspond to a high speed MPU bus interface with a frequency of up to 2 MHz (when VCC = 5V).
