    The LTC1297DCN8 is an ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) from the LTC®1292/LTC1297 series, primarily designed for Data Acquisition Systems & DSP applications. It has a 12-bit, differential input, successive approximation architecture, sample-and-hold on the (+) input, and serial I/O feature for easy interface to processors. This component is capable of digitizing signals at a maximum throughput rate of 60kHz. It utilizes the incredible AC characteristics of the device. When the LTC1297DCN8 is not in use, it automatically powers down, reducing supply current to a minimum of 5µA. This device, made possible by utilizing the LTCMOSTM switched-capacitor technology is available in an 8-pin DIP package.
