Texas Instruments' TPS79501DRBT is a robust, power-management integrated circuit (IC) designed to be used in automotive systems. It is an easy-to-use, 30V Constant Voltage/Current Linear Regulator with a wide output voltage range of 0.3V – 30V and an adjustable current limit of up to 30A. The device offers an adjustable reference voltage accuracy of ±1.5%, a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and an efficiency of up to 95%. The device also features adjustable turn-on/off transient protection, comprehensive diagnosis feature set and current sense amplifier. The TPS79501DRBT is suitable for applications requiring efficient Voltage/Current regulation, such as in Industrial and Automotive systems.
