Texas Instruments TPS72516DCQ is a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator with a very high input voltage range of up to 16V. It features very low quiescent current to help maintain a low power draw. The output voltage can be set digitally and is accurate to within ±1% over temperature. The device also features overcurrent and over-temperature protection. The TPS72516DCQ is ideal for applications with high input voltages and disruptive, transient inputs, such as in air conditioning and power metering, energy harvesting, VRMs and DC-DC converters.
