The Texas Instruments Specialized Power Management IC TPS65162RGZR is a surface mount LCD TV/Monitor IC with a wide temperature range (-40°C to 85°C). This IC provides a wide swath of voltage control options with an extended range of 8V to 14.7V. It comes in a 48-VQFN package with a Digi-ReelR Alternate Packaging (7x7) form factor. The TPS65162RGZR is suitable for many applications and provides high efficiency power management for LCD TV/Monitor applications. This IC is designed with Powergood to provide supperior risk reduction and is capable of delivering up to 500mA synchronous current cycles. The TPS65162RGZR utilizes integrated Pro-Spectre EMI Filtering as well as D-CAP2 and D-CAP3 control modes to deliver accurate and consistent control for loads with varying current profiles. This IC also provides protection for undervoltage, overvoltage, over temperature, and short circuit conditions.
