The PYTHON 1300 is a 1/2" SXGA CMOS image sensor with a pixel array of 1280 X 1024. The highly sensitive 4.8 ?m x 4.8 ?m pixels support low-noise "pipeline" and "trigger" global shutter reading modes. In addition, correlated double sampling (CDS) support in global shutter mode reduces noise and increases dynamic range. The sensor features an on-chip programmable gain amplifier and 10-bit A/D converter. Integration time and gain parameters can be reconfigured without any visible image defects. An optional on-chip automatic exposure control loop (AEC) dynamically controls these parameters. The image black level can be automatically calibrated or adjusted by adding a user-programmable offset. High programming capability using a four-wire serial peripheral interface allows the user to read specific areas of interest. Up to 8 programmable regions for higher frame rates The P1-SN/SE part model features 4 LVDS channels for frame rates of up to 210 frames per second in zero ROT mode. Each channel runs at 720 Mbps. A separate synchronization channel with load information is provided for image reconstruction at the receiver side, and the P2-SN/SE part model provides a parallel CMOS output interface at a lower frame rate. The PYTHON 1300 is available in a 48-pin LCC package in monochrome, Bayer color, and extended NIR versions with and without protective tape.
