Texas Instruments TPS2421-2DDA is a 2A Low Dropout (LOD) linear voltage regulator designed to meet the needs of low noise and low power applications. The device operates from an input voltage of up to 18V and can provide up to 2A of continuous output current. It features fast line and load transient response and excellent line and load regulation. The device is available in fixed output voltages of 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V and comes in a small SOT223-6 package. The low quiescent current of 15µA and fully protected design makes it an ideal choice for applications where low noise, low power and high efficiency are required. The built-in thermal overload protection and current limit features increase safety and reliability of the system. The device can also be used in parallel configuration for increased current delivery.
