** LTC1646CGN Description **
The LTC1646CGN hot-swap controllers come equipped with various features. The first feature, Undervoltage lockout, protects the MOSFET from insufficient gate-drive voltage. The second feature, sensing the controller's die temperature, also protects the MOSFET, but only if the controller is in good thermal contact with it. It explains the LTC1646CGN hot-swap controller feature.
