STMicroelectronics' STM8S207K6T3C is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit microcontroller family based on the STM8 CPU core. It is the first STM8 device to incorporate an ARM Cortex-M0 core and a complete RGB color LCD controller, allowing for 2D and 3D animation as well as real-time video. The device also includes an advanced power-saving system that automatically switches off idle memory and peripherals, allowing maximum energy efficiency. This helps extend battery life in mobile applications, such as remote sensors and gadgets, and makes the STM8S207K6T3C ideal for embedded applications. The STM8S207K6T3C features a rich peripheral set and many communication interfaces, including two fast I2C (400kHz) channels, three UARTs, two SPI ports, an USB 2.0 full- speed controller, an Ethernet controller, as well as two CAN (Controller Area Network) peripheral nodes. The device also has a wide range of analog peripherals, including 10-bit ADCs, 10-bit DACs, and 12-bit timers. The STM8S207K6T3C is packaged in a small Wafer Level ChipScale package (WLCSP), making it one of the smallest microcontrollers on the market (3.0 mm x 4.7 mm). It is fully compatible with the STM8 development ecosystem, including STM8CubeMX, STM8CubeIDE, STM8 IAR EWARM and ST Visual Develop, as well as multiple third-party development tools.
