The Texas Instruments UCC28C43DGK DC DC Switching Controllers are designed to optimize size, cost and power conversion applications such as point of load (POL) and on-board power supplies. The smart controllers contain a fully integrated 3-2-1 synchronous buck-boost controller, plus built-in protection features and diagnostics. The external components are greatly reduced and allows for easy system-level design. The UCC28C43DGK is a step-up regulator with a voltage regulation range of 7.6V - 18V (VIN), and a temperature range of -40～C ~ 105～C (TJ). The controller produces a low RDS(on) transistor driving signal with improved efficiency and allows for smaller PCB footprints. The controller also includes protection features such as overvoltage protection, undervoltage lockout and Protection for a power MOSFET. This makes the UCC28C43DGK an ideal choice for all step-up, step-up/step-down DC-DC applications.
