HEF4013BP Description
The HEF4013BP is a 14-pin DIP dual D type flip flop. It has set direct input (SD), clear direct input (CD), clock input (CP), and outputs that are all independent. When CP is low, data is received and transmitted to the output on the clock's positive-going edge. The active high asynchronous CD and SD inputs are autonomous and take precedence over D or CP inputs. For optimal system performance, the outputs are buffered. The Schmitt trigger action of the clock input makes the circuit more tolerant of slower clock rise and fall periods. It works within the acceptable VDD power supply range of 3V to 15V to VSS (usually ground). Inputs that are not in use must be linked to VDD, VSS, or another input.
