The Texas Instruments LM2593HVS-ADJ is a family of low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulators featuring a wide input voltage range of 2.7 V to 42 V. The devices are designed for adjustable output voltage range of 1.23 V to 38 V with a voltage adjust range of 1.23 V to 37 V. The devices provide an ultra-low-noise low-dropout voltage of only 400 mV at full load. They contain an Error Flag output to indicate when the output voltage is out of regulation and an external soft-start control. These regulators are compact, thermally efficient, and capable of supplying 150 mA of regulated output current. The family also features a high-precision and low-temperature coefficient reference, an on/off enable input, and low quiescent current. The robust integrated protection features include undervoltage lockout, current limit, and thermal shutdown. The LM2593HVS-ADJ is available in industry-standard packages and is ideal for battery-powered applications, medical instrumentation and other high-performance designs.
