The Texas Instruments UC3717AN Full, Half-Bridge Drivers are ideal for general purpose and stepper motors. These logic through-hole drivers come in a 16-PDIP form factor, and have an operational temperature range of 0～C to 150～C (TJ). The UC3717A drivers require a voltage input of 4.75 V ~ 5.25 V and have a maximum temperature range of 5.25V - 40°C to +85°C. These drivers are designed to drive up to four independent full or half-bridge motor control outputs. Their PWM (pulse-width modulation) inputs accept TTL (transistor-transistor logic) pulses up to 25kHz, allowing the driver circuits to achieve high speed control. Other features include adjustable dead band, individual bridge disable and speed control. The UC3717A drivers can be daisy chained, allowing for multiple drivers that are easy to control.
